Because Ford kept the same chassis for so many models; starting with the EA all the way through to the AU we are able to offer the same design exhaust system.
When the XR8 model was introduced it was a drawcard for many buyers as the XR8 model had special trim kit making it stand out from the other standard models.

The 3" Cat Back Exhaust by Rhino Exhaust is an excellent exhaust upgrade option as it provides a deep V8 note. The beauty of our system is because we still use the front and rear mufflers which are designed with inner perforation and heavy packing material they absorb the frequencies that tend to cause droning. 
The exhaust starts with a Y-pipe design in 2.5inch pipework which connects to the left and right factory manifold assembly [the AU model also had cat converters incorporated at the bottom of the assembly to meet emission regulations] it then goes into single centre muffler assembly and then on to the rear tailpipe/muffler assembly. Being the XR8 sedan, the system is suitable only for the Solid Axle suspension arrangement.
